The output value intends to specify a given feature tagged with power=generator only producing output power in a power plant. This power is sent to power grids through transformers and power lines outside the power plant.

Output generators are the most common ones. They should be the only ones to appear on public documentation published by operators. This value is default.

In a normal situation, plant:output:*=* of a given power plant should be the sum of all of its output generators' generator:output:*=* values.

Standard power=generator values apply. Using this tag is optional and may be done by mappers who know precisely the structure of the power plant.

Example

  • Most of the generators including wind generators, turbines that output electricity in power plants.
