The key highway=turntable is used to identify a car turntable, a rotating platform used for rotating motor vehicles on the spot. They can be designed to support cars, buses or trucks. They may be found in places where manouvering a vehicle is impossible, such as a parking garage or driveway. They may be manually operated or electrically powered. Currently, the majority of this tag usage comes from Tokyo, Japan.

How to map

Tag the node at the centre of the turntable as highway=turntable, with ways connecting to each destination of the turntable.

Optionally, draw a circular way covering the turntable's area, tagged as area:highway=turntable.
