The operator is the State of the Netherlands (Dutch: Staat der Nederlanden, French: État néerlandais), i.e. the legal entity (rechtspersoon) corresponding to the central government of the country The Netherlands.
Operation is therefore subject to the rules set out in the Constitution for the Kingdom of the Netherlands (Grondwet voor het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden).
Possible tagging mistakes
- Do not confuse operator=Staat der Nederlanden with operator=Koninkrijk der Nederlanden. The latter is the entity of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which came into existence as a practically separate entity in 1954 with the adoption of the Charter for the Kingdom of the Netherlands (Statuut voor het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden).
