Diaphragm pumps are composed of one or several chambers, reciprocating membranes and appropriate shut-off valves. Membranes are driven to sequentially suck the fluid and pull it out with a positive pressure.
Chambers and membranes give them a very distinguishable look from another kind of pumps.

They could be used in combination with mechanical_driver=electric_motor or mechanical_driver=cylinder depending on what power source is available to operate them.
