A siding is an operating site, where a spur forks from a railway line.

How to map

Set a node node where a spur forks from a main line (not on a track) and add railway=spur_junction.

Tags used in combination

  • name=* - name of the siding
  • operator=* - the operator of the siding
  • railway:ref=* - the reference code the railway uses to refer to the siding.
