Mast with siren

Sirens are used in public sector for calling the fire fighters or as civil defence sirens, alerting an entire community of impending danger. In private sector are mainly used as fire alarm or alarm in case of burglary. Sirens could be used to signal working time in major industrial plants.

How to map

Place a node node and tag it man_made=mast and tower:type=siren.

If the siren is used for calling the fire fighters or as civil defence siren add the tag emergency=siren. And pay attention to additional tags for this tag as well.

If the siren is mounted on a building or building part (but for example on tower:type=hose as well), you tag is just by adding emergency=siren.

A siren mounted on building's or tower's flat roof you can optionally add the tag location=roof.

If there is a solar panel mounted as well and the device can therefore work independently of electric grid add the tag solar_panel=yes. The corresponding outdoor housing is not tagged.
