zone:traffic=DE:urban is used to indicate roads in Germany which are not motorways and are inside the built-up area (innerhalb geschlossener Ortschaften).

In most cases, roads with zone:traffic=DE:urban have the following default speed limits:
However, there are some exceptions for roads for motor vehicles (Kraftfahrstraßen) that are dual-carriageway.
