Misleading formulation

The text writes of OpenStreetMap Carto as a renderer - which is very misleading. The renderer used is Mapnik. Other software used/necessary in terms of currently operational tile rendering on osm.org are Carto, osm2pgsql and mod_tile. OpenStreetMap Carto is a map style - hence not software at all (at least not in a social/economic/legal sense). --Imagico (talk) 15:40, 20 June 2025 (UTC)
