What about routes that are marked as cycleways (by blue guides on lampposts), but without a dedicated lane - would cycleway=yes be a sensible way to deal with these ? Or perhaps cycleway=advisory, but that would get confused with dashed lines. --Hadleyac 22:13, 10 June 2007 (BST)

Lane in the opposite direction of way

Map_Key#Cycleway says to use cycleway=opposite_lane for cycleway lanes on ways in opposite direction but this article says cycleway=lane_opposite? --Nevermind 04:05, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

monodirectional cycling

Hi, How is that cycleway: lane_left OR lane_right OR opposite_lane_left OR opposite_lane_right supposed to function? And how does this work when one direction has a lane and the other a track? Mysha

Walking on cyclyway

As far as I can figure out I cannot mark a highway both footway and cycleway, how do I indicate that it is allowed to walk on a cycleway?

with the tag foot=yes if it's highway=cycleway, with the tag bicycle=yes if it's higway=footway --Jkp 08:44, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
