Good Devices

How to you find out about good devices? The cheapest ones here cost about 40 EUR and do name e.g. a Prolific chipset, operation by 750 mAh Li-Ion-Battery for up to 9h. Other chipsets are e.g. Sirf Star III or MTK. All of those got BlueTooth connectivity.

Where are these?

Are these in the UK? The page should say where they are and/or to where they may be loaned. We have people all over the world who want to map. --Amillar 20:56, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

These are currently in the UK. If you want them, put a request in.

Article usefulness

Is this article even relevent anymore? It seems like it hasn't been updated since 2017. If OSM isn't loaning put GPS units anymore its being done through a different off Wiki avenue the article should updated to reflect it. --Adamant1 (talk) 23:23, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
