Der Server hat einen unerwarteten Rückgabewert (405 Method Not Allowed)

I can't get a complete copy of the repo.

$ svn co http://svn.openstreetmap.org/

(sorry for the German).. in the end.

Thanks,

400 Bad Request

I can't get access via svn client to the repository, I get this error when I try:

REPORT request failed on '/!svn/vcc/default'
REPORT of '/!svn/vcc/default': 400 Bad Request (http://svn.openstreetmap.org)

Am I missing something obvious??
Please let me know (egeland <at> gmail [dot] com) how to do it. :)

Thanks,

dowload EVERY INDIVIDIAL FILE

Does all this mean I have to dowload EVERY INDIVIDIAL FILE from svn.openstreetmap.org/applications/rendering/osmarender/ ? And no, I don't want to learn how to use subversion just to have a look at osmarender. Damn, what's so hard about exporting a usable version as a package every once in a while? I know, I know, developers can't be bothered to accommodate users when it's so much more fun to laugh at how stupid they all are. OK, enough of this little rant. Maybe I've overlooked some easy way of getting this thing, in which case I apologize. Seriously: How high a barrier do you guys want there to be in the way of using the software, how much of it is actual technical necessity?

To answer my own question: No I don't. wget -r <url> works great. My point's still valid. ianulus
You should ask on http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/tilesathome , ideally leaving some of the attitude at home --Richard 17:26, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
