Multiple email addresses

There is a shop with multiple email addresses listed: one for sales, another for service. However, adding multiple values like email=info@example.com; service@example.com "service" creates a warning in most editors including iD. How to approach this? I don't want a split like

email=info@example.com
contact:email=service@example.com "service"

because it decreases readability. Jakub Sýček (talk) 07:42, 4 November 2025 (UTC)

OSM isn't a directory. You should avoid adding all contacts. If there are many, linking the contacts page by eg contact:url=* similar to opening_hours:url=* is simpler, and can see the updates there.
That being said, it's possible to add some *:email=* for attributes. It could be eg service:bicycle:repair:email=* , or repair:email=* , depending on the shop=* it is. This won't be supported soon though, so it largely shouldn't be used anyway.
