Recommendation to add place=locality

I disagree with this new recommendation:

"If name is still in standard use add also place=* tag, usually place=locality"

While this key disused:place=* is newer and less likely to be supported by data users, it is much more specific than using place=locality in the case of a named place which is no longer inhabited, so I don't see how there is any information added by combining with that tag. --Jeisenbe (talk) 06:35, 27 February 2021 (UTC)
