IMHO width should include the lateral buffer space or it should be suggested how else to tag it, because it is relevant—Dieterdreist (talk) 08:54, 27 August 2025 (UTC)

- Yes that would be a great addition to the tags and info we use for our app users. What tag would you suggest? Maybe wheelchair:transfer_space ? Could be used for other objects in osm. Do we need more tags to indicate if there is a transfer space on one and both sides? The width of the space would also be helpful
