Current mapping activities in India

@User:Russdeffner or others responsible for India mapping. I saw some changesets which refer to https://tasks.hotosm.org/projects/14918/tasks/ (Seeds Water Bodies Mapping - New Delhi, India). I could not find any entry in the organised editing table. Can you update it? Please also identify the coordinator and provide an update on the project? Hi @Arjunaraoc I am not involved in this response but have forwarded this message to the regional hub. However, I do believe this is an effort of the local India community, so documentation may come from them rather than HOT (so also look for entries by OSM India or similar). --Russdeffner (talk) 17:48, 20 July 2023 (UTC)

Columns "Community contacted" + "Community objections?" or list specific OEA on Organised Editing/Activities

Hello all. I'm unsure if you here would prefer A) I edit this main page to include columns "Community contacted" + "Community objections?" or B) I just include a particular activity on the main page Organised_Editing/Activities, which already has the fields, and avoid editing this page. I think option B might be a win-win, since it involves more organizers than mere activation by HOT alone. Also, compared to rural Africa, allowing first-edit-beginners to edit an urban area with previous mapped content by local mappers (which by the way, would be what the documentation of Task Manager say to NOT do) is more challenging than the documentation for these kinds of marathons have, so even global validators without local knowledge had trouble post-validation.
