Revival ?

Is it ok, if I revive this proposal ?

Couloir are a bit of a standard, I don't like that this proposal was rejected because it needed just some vote.

I'd vote for it. It complements arete, which got approved and is even rendered by OSM Carto. Showing couloirs on maps will only make them more readable, and perhaps approval is the only missing factor?
PS: In Austria, couloirs are called "Rinne". It's cousin is the "Reise" - difference being steepness: in a Reise rocks travel slowly, in a Rinne rocks rarely rest. Not a few Reisen sit below Rinnen. Reisen are commonly mapped as areas of natural scree. I would not immediately consider couloir a subtype of gully ("Runse" in German), as these are almost always associated with a (seasonal) waterway, but I am not a geologist. --Hungerburg (talk) 11:21, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
Then I suggest you to vote on this proposal : couloir 2:) .
I think I'll put it in votation at the end of the week.
