You can make your own maps for FREE using the free QGIS map app and copyright free Census tiger data or the licenced OSM data. Avoid all usage and copyright attribution clauses by making your own custom vector map(s) output.

"Avoiding usage and attribution clauses" for maps which use OSM data is a direct violation of the OSM licence. Please educate yourself before making such claims. --Breki (talk) 10:16, 18 May 2017 (UTC)
You seem very confused Breki. What does using the QGIS app have to do with OSM data??? Also, personal OSM data usage and commercial/resale/publication OSM data usage is night and day! You can use OSM data all you want for personal use. I highly suggest you reacquaint yourself with the OSM data Copyright and License usage agreement at http://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright --cdcmaps (talk) 12:05, 18 May 2017 (UTC)
Confusion is on your side. Quoting your "or the licenced OSM data" and "Avoid all usage and copyright attribution clauses". Also, OSM license does not separate personal vs. commercial use. As long as you distribute a map made from OSM data in any form, commercially or non-commercially, you need to include the appropriate attribution. This is also indicated on ScalableMaps Terms of Use page. As for QGIS, everyone is free and welcome to make the maps for free using any kind of tool they like. ScalableMaps is intended for people and companies who do not want to invest time in learning intricacies of cartography, OpenStreetMap and QGIS software and who are instead willing to pay for getting a high-quality vector maps output. --Breki (talk) 04:41, 19 May 2017 (UTC)
