As mobile devices are more important as time goes by, I would propose to reorder the entries. Currently it's not that easy to find the mobile operating system, as many many platforms with no actual content are shown. I would propose to reformat it and just use two categories:
- iPhone / iPad
- Microsoft Mobile
- <list all others here - most of them are obscure or not really adopted by many people>
This is just a suggestion - if there are some feedback, please let me know - otherwise I might reformat that page somewhen in the future
- Yeah I agree. I'd say we should be highlighting the top three or four OS/platforms by market share. It's not free and open and idealistic but it's a fact of life that the vast majority of people are coming here looking for iOS & Android information. ...cue debate
- But a change I will make immediately actually, is to drop all the red links off this page. Proponents of these more exotic OS's/platforms can re-add them to the list here, if and when they can be bothered to create wiki page about them :-) That should immediately make the page a bit clearer.
