Opinion

The first time I saw this icon, I thought it depicts a ladder. What if you rotate the icon by 90 degrees? Would that maybe be better?

I thorght exactly the same. I think the thick lines between the frames made me think this. Maybe these could be thinned, and the outer lines thickends. As for rotation, I would thing it would be ok if flipped horizontal and roated anti-clockwise 90 degrees.

Another option would be no have a little picture of a projector. Joto 09:11, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

XXX Cinemas

How to tag a XXX-Cinema? I used: leisure=cinema, cinema:xxx=yes

any suggestions? --Kerosin 16:12, 15 August 2011 (BST)

Yes, you might want to use minage=18.

Amenity or leisure?

In the Template:ValueDescription on the right side there is an indication to use leisure=cinema in combination with this tag but there's no information about it the wiki. Is it correct? --berse 15:00, 21 August 2012 (BST)

Map

Use slippymap instead of map. Map seems to be broken.--geozeisig (talk) 07:20, 20 January 2019 (UTC)

Opening hours

I'm asking here instead of opening_hours because this more or less only relevan for cinemas... What is the standard value for opening_hours= when the cinema is only open during shows + 45 minutes before? They are open almost every day, but specific days and hours differ widely.
