"cycleway=separate on the other hand only indicates that there is cycle path nearby that has been mapped separately. It does not make any statement about whether that separately mapped cycle path is compulsory or not. That property would be set on the separately mapped cycle track. "

This seems inconsistent. It is unclear whether this is actually talking about `cycleway=separate` or `bicycle=use_sidepath` (the topic of that section), but both would be tagged on the road and not on the separately mapped cycle track. --Woazboat (talk) 16:39, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
