Talk:Tag:shop=games
Overlap with shop=toys
So here's a new tag documentation page. Any proposal or discussion to link?
The obvious potential issue to note, is the overlap with shop=toys. That page has (since mid 2010) described the tag as including shops which sell "board games, collectible miniature figurines, collectible card games (e.g. Magic: The Gathering), tabletop games (e.g. Warhammer 40,000)" so clearly defined as encompassing this idea.
But like many shop tags there's overlap, and words which seem more specific, and better suited to certain shops. Similar to my thoughts over on Talk:Tag:shop=hifi, we're generally spreading out and diversifying quite a lot in the tag values we use for shops. So I'm not saying its a problem necessarily
but... I guess we should note that this tag is very new. So data consumers should also be looking under shop=toys for their warhammer stores.

- Thanks for the clarifications, makes sense! I started this page because it came up on a mailing list that there were people using this tag but no wiki page for it. Neuhausr (talk) 18:23, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
Key:games
Hello, I would like to create the key games=yes for places which are not selling games but provide games to their customer. It is generally a bar but also can be a library.
