computer-readable semantics

Who is part of this project and do you care about computer-readable ontologies like the ones described via RDF for the wiki-pages describing the various tags? --MarcusWolschon 11:33, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

This project, as in the best Wiki tradition, is open to anyone! I don't know anything about onthologies and RDF, but if it helps improve the meaning of our tags to computer software, it is definitely something to investigate. However the main focus, so far, is in making small, but readily usable, contributions. Everything this project produces should be self-describing (we don't need a semantics for the semantics...) Having said that, I'll investigate RDF and its usage for OSM. --FedericoCozzi 12:37, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
