The opening paragraph should state why this is useful at all, or why it is preferred to be used for hosting files/images. After all, there's even a tag for wikimedia_commons. Otherwise, the most-likely response would be "so what?". The explanation is in the Project Scope section but I believe that deserves to be at the top. Photos as sources
Photos in context of the mapping are useful as sources of factual data, photographer's copyright not affected. Something B (talk) 22:32, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
