portions

Some minor portions of this image feature Bing aerial imagery.
Software screenshots and other illustrations of OpenStreetMap editing processes will often include some Bing imagery.
Bing imagery is not open licensed, but is generously made available to the OpenStreetMap project for deriving open licensed map data.
Such images in the OpenStreetMap wiki may be open licensed only where use of Bing is minor/incidental.

This template should only be used on file pages.

Usage

Place this label on the image description page with following syntax:

{{Bing image portions}}

As well as placing a label, this will also put the file into Category:Files using portions of bing imagery

Reason

This is for images which feature some portions of Bing aerial imagery. Only use this template (and your free license) if you think that the use of the Bing aerial imagery in your image is minor enough to make the bing copyright of no relevance. See more info about this thought.

In this case a image might also be labelled with a free (e.g. CC) license (another template alongside this template) since the Bing imagery use is thought to be minor enough.

In case images consist entirely or almost entirely of Bing aerial imagery, or you are just not sure that the use of Bing is minor enough, please use {{Bing image}} instead!
