Usage

Add this template to a tagging page to warn readers that the explanation below is specific to OpenStreetMap and may not apply when contributing to or using OpenHistoricalMap.

Rationale

OpenHistoricalMap's tagging conventions are largely the same as OpenStreetMap's, but a small number of important differences inherently arise because the two projects' scopes and data-gathering processes differ dramatically. In these cases, OHM maintains a separate article about the key, tag, or relation type to keep the main article from getting cluttered with admonitions not to do something in OSM. This improves the user experience for both projects and makes it easier for users to see where they can add more relevant documentation.
