Shouldn't this template simply call some Lua module, so that it can parse the current page's language, and construct the link accordingly? I'm not sure how {{Tag}} does it, but I guess they should be doing it the same way. Lua module might be the fastest approach, esp because we already have a module to parse the current page title into the language code. --Yurik (talk) 23:05, 12 March 2019 (UTC)

Absolutely, this would be the proper way, I guess. {{Tag}} uses some parser functions.
