YouthMappers at Tuskegee University
- About - The YouthMappers @ TU was established on April 19, 2023 by Dr. April Jones, LMSW and Mr. John Myers, faculty advisors/mentors, to expand the GIS Mapping efforts at Tuskegee University, Macon County, AL community, and internationally through virtual projects.
- Our goal is to utilize digital mapping to support and improve research, policy, planning, healthcare, and advocacy efforts domestically and internationally to better meet community needs to address resource allocation, service delivery, and support grantsmanship.
- The mission is to address/solve real-world problems of disadvantaged and underserved communities to help the vulunerable populations to improve access and delivery of services.

Tasks: The Jesup Wagon for Macon, Russell, Tallapoosa, & Bullock Counties, AL Community Mental Health Awareness, Education, and Training Project.
- Purpose - This project is a mobile education and training unit to address access to mental health awareness, education, and training services. The rural areas are access desserts to adequate and euitable services.
- Details - The interest meeting for mappers will be held in August 2023 and community partners are TEARS, INC. and their consortium members.
- Tools - Therecwill be various tools utilize that msy include, but are not limited to: AI/MI, the HOT OSM Tasking Manager, the TeachOSM Tasking Manager, MapRoulette, Field Papers, ODK, KoboToolBox, or another mobile data collection tool
- Start Date - September 2023
