Hi, please use the feature of edit comments with your edits on the Wiki and give a short explanation with your edits. Thanks in advance! --Chris2map (talk) 21:32, 19 March 2026 (UTC)
I promise to apologize for my mistakes when I start getting positive feedbacks for my contributions! How about that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Amit Yaron (talk • contribs) 20 March 2026
- Thanks for your response. I'm not entirely sure how to interpret your answer or whether there's any irony in it. There's no need to apologize. It’s more about constantly improving. It has nothing to do with positive or negative feedbacks. To be more specific: For me, for example, it would be helpful and appreciated if, when editing universal templates, a note such as “add "he" translation” were included. – Ah, and please sign posts (by typing 4 tildes "~~~~" at the end). --Chris2map (talk) 14:12, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
I promise to add comments if I remember to do so. The source code editor saves immediately as I press the "Save Changes" button without reminding me to add comments. Amit Yaron (talk) 16:38, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- There is an option in the user preferences to enable getting a warning prompt, see Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing. --Chris2map (talk) 22:21, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
