license information with uploaded image files of maps

Hi! There is one information missing with your uploads of files with maps: What is the source and license of the map data for the borders (outlines)? E.g. if they are from OSM then the ODbL license has to be stated, which could be done by {{ODbL OpenStreetMap}}. --Chris2map (talk) 10:10, 12 April 2026 (UTC)

Hi! These outlines are done by myself and hand-drawn in Inkscape, so I own the license and release it as copyleft. They are not from OSM. I believe that I have made that clear in the license, but perhaps I was not clear enough? The entire point of these maps is that they are not in OSM yet, and me and two other people are actively manually mapping them. Fjana (talk) 10:15, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
