recycling:food

Hi! I've noticed that you've added recycling:food to the Tag:amenity=recycling wiki page for tagging community fridge. I'm not very happy with tagging community fridges as amenity=recycling, because containers for recycling or reuse are usually only for depositing and not for picking up too. Besides, we already use amenity=public_bookcase for public bookcases, so it seems better to use something like amenity=public_bookcase amenity=public_refrigerator or amenity=community_fridge. Best regards --SelfishSeahorse (talk) 10:48, 25 February 2020 (UTC)

hello, I understand your point of view. But creating a top level amenty tag for this use seems too much, don't you you think? and recycling=food do not create dedicated tag. Maybe there is a solution with public_bookcase=yes --Hellopierre (talk) 12:02, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
I don't think that creating a new top level tag is too much. Public fridges are particular enough to deserve an own top-level tag. But i'll ask the community what they think. --SelfishSeahorse (talk) 15:19, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
PS: I've written a message to the tagging mailing list to request opinions. --SelfishSeahorse (talk) 15:47, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
