Hi there. Just a heads up, but you might have a hard time with a proposal in Japanese. Most people here and on the mailing list only speak British English and you'll likely need their participation in the proposal if your ever going to have people vote on it. Also, what's wrong with shop=grocery or whatever and cuisine=rice. I'm pretty sure we already do that for other specialty/ethnic grocery stores. --Adamant1 (talk) 14:00, 6 June 2020 (UTC)

  • This page is just a draft and some mappers in Japan are now having discussion about this proposal. Although it is temporarily written in Japanese for easy discussion, we are planning to translate it into English after adding more contents and send a RFC to the Taggint ML. In Japan, rice is regarded as the most important produce and "rice shops" are completely different from normal grocery shops, supermarkets or food stores.
