Crimea decision

While the candidates mostly subscribe to the on-the-ground rule, there are subtle differences in how they suggest to deal with it. You just write "yes", but

  • Rory, while confirming the on-the-ground-rule (and Crimea not being part of Ucraine as a result) in principal, also confirms the board's decision "However there was a lot of bad press with that decision, so I support making a once off exception to get rid of bad flak. I probably would have voted the same way.", so IMHO it is not a clear "yes" or maybe I missunderstand what is intended with this last sentence. --Dieterdreist (talk) 09:25, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
Hm, sounds like "yes, with exceptions". However, I'd say that any candidate would at least generally concur with the on the ground rule. Mikel Maron's view is basically also "yes, with exceptions", and this I put as a "no" into that table. I will correct the table --Westnordost (talk) 22:23, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
