Utah has many state parks across the entire state, with several different purposes. Below is an attempt to categorize them by the primary purpose of nature reserve, recreation area, or heritage site. Note that most, if not all, nature reserves include at least some area for hiking, camping, and/or OHV, and as such should also likely be double-tagged for reservation and recreation. Recreation is split out into its own category for those parks which are purely for recreation, and not nature reserves.
