Winnipeg Transit is the transit operator for Winnipeg. It operates buses running local and express routes. The system has been largely completely mapped, and an effort to remap all routes to PTv2 standard was completed 2024. The bus network was completely redesigned in 2025.
A network tag preset is available for Winnipeg Transit bus stops and routes through the Name Suggestion Index (NSI).

GTFS and open data
Winnipeg Transit's open data (schedules, routes, stops) is available in GTFS format, available through their API. Data is licensed under the Open Data Commons PDDL licence. The latest static version of their GTFS open data (dated June 1, 2025) has been imported into OpenStreetMap in 2025 following Winnipeg Transit's network redesign.
