Corrupted tag is a tag which is heavily misused, making interpretation by data consumers problematic. Prominent example is landuse=farm: initially meaning "farmland", this tag became used for agricultural yards, in some way related, but different features, afterwards it was deprecated and replaced with landuse=farmland and landuse=farmyard.
