iOS ist ein mobiles Betriebsystem von Apple. Ursprünglich für das iPhone entwickelt (kurz: iPhone OS), es wird auch für iPod Touch und iPad verwendet. Es basiert auf Mac OS X und ist das hauptsächliche Betriebssystem für viele Apple Geräte.

Libraries that help iPhone developers use OSM maps

• The MapLibre is an open source library for iOS developers to adapt OSM, as well as any other kind of data, into custom maps.
• WhirlyGlobe-Maply [1] is a geospatial display kit for iOS and Android based on OpenGL ES. It implements a 2D map and a 3D globe and can handle image base maps and tiled vector maps based on OSM data.
