EVicons is an open-source (MIT) SVG icon set for electric vehicle charging: connectors (Type 1, Type 2, CCS1, CCS2, CHAdeMO, GB/T DC, NACS, MCS, Schuko, CEE), charging status, payment and map markers. It is published as npm packages (@evicons/svg, @evicons/react) and at https://evicons.dev.

OpenStreetMap tags

Every connector icon lists the socket keys it stands for, so data consumers can pick an icon straight from OSM data. The file @evicons/svg/osm.json maps each tag to an icon, for example socket:type2_combo=* → plug-ccs2, socket:cee_blue=* → plug-cee-blue. A few other tags are mapped too, such as amenity=charging_station, frequency=0, fee=no and access=customers.

Documentation with JavaScript, React and Overpass examples: https://evicons.dev/docs#openstreetmap

JOSM map style

An add-on map paint style for JOSM draws amenity=charging_station as AC or DC markers derived from the socket:* tags, marks stations without any socket:* tag ("socket?") and shows the connector icon on man_made=charge_point nodes. Add https://evicons.dev/josm/evicons.zip under Preferences → Map Paint Styles.
