Summary

A brewpub is a pub or restaurant that brews beer on the premises. Typically the type of beer available there is called craft beer. The fact that these locations feature a microbrewery is something special thus it should be mapped.

How to map

The microbrewery tag can be used for pubs, restaurants, etc. to indicate that there is a microbrewery on the premises. This is usually called a brewpub.

microbrewery=yes

The tag can be used for nodes and areas (buildings).

Please also add the website of the microbrewery if there is one.

Note: This tag is not for tagging industrial breweries and restaurants with draught beer! Instead use industrial=brewery and brewery=*, respectively.

Note: Whereas a microbrewery brews on the premises, a taproom only serves the craft beers! Use real_ale=yes, instead.

Note: In France and the Francophone world, a brasserie is a type of French restaurant with a relaxed setting, which serves single dishes and other meals. The word brasserie is also French for "brewery" and, by extension, "the brewing business".
