Topic Block
The following editing modes are ideas to be added in iD:
- A "building tool" (the most highly requested feature which is missing in iD)
- Geometry improvement tool for lines/areas
- Split / Merge for Areas
- Complex mapping modes like power line mapping (see github issue)
As a first step, new editing modes could be behind a keyboard shortcut.
