(note from the editor: sorry, I forgot to save the minutes collected during the meeting; the bullet points below are added from memory – feel free to add any additional stuff we talked about)

  • A few additional users are helping out with ticket triage on github lately. Martin will contact a few more people in the near future to potentially further help out with this.
  • Rapid editor: how can we improve the situation such that the two projects can benefit from each other better? Currently, iD's improvements focused more around tagging/preset related topics, compared to rapid's "tech" improvements.
  • editor layer updates still require a full release of iD: it would be nice if the iD "development branch" builds would fetch the latest ELI data (e.g. for testing); additionally, there could be PR preview builds in the ELI repo similar to how the id-tagging-schema does it.
  • It would be nice to suggest presets based on the surroundings of a feature and or connected features, e.g. crossing/barrier presets on streets, etc.
