Why create a data item for the United States? How is this page useful?

The data items for countries are targets for the region property of country-specific images and could be used for other local attributes. --Andrew (talk) 13:55, 13 April 2020 (UTC)

Shouldn't it link to the Openstreetmap relation for the United States, or the wiki page about the United States? --Jeisenbe (talk) 14:19, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
