This tag specifies whether a fee is required to access internet service offered at a feature

How to map

Requires the tag internet_access=* and a feature tag such as a shop, restaurant, library or other location.

Add the tag internet_access:fee=yes/no/customers:

  • internet_access:fee=yes - if an additional charge is required to access the internet, even for customers
  • internet_access:fee=customers - if internet service is included for customers with no additional charge
  • internet_access:fee=no - if internet service is provided to the general public with no fee or purchase required

Examples

1) a cafe that provides access to wireless internet service for all customers who have made a purchase of coffee or food, without an additional fee, should be tagged primarily as amenity=cafe and additionally with:
