Denotes a power=catenary_mast where the overhead line is attached directly to the mast instead of hanging onto some support. Since the purpose of such a mast is to also keep the line tensioning, it's very recommend to add tensioning=* to it.

If the mast also supports the overhead line in addition to tensioning it, use catenary_mast:supporting=* with tensioning=* instead.

Values

Value Description Images
anchor the last mast at the end of a electrified track, which takes the tension from the overhead contact line directly in the position of the overhead line, there is no tensioning device, the mast is sometimes also located directly behind the buffer stop in the track axis, often tensioning=fixed is to be tagged as well
tensioning_only exclusively for tensioning the overhead contact line; in this case it is recommended to specify the type of tensioning by tensioning=*
