Status: in use

crossing:kerb_extension=* is used in conjunction with a node highway=crossing for pedestrians, to specify whether the sidewalk kerb is extended into the driveway to shorten the crossing distance for pedestrians.

Values

The values left, right and both refer to the direction of the line the crossing node is located on (see also Left and right). It should therefore be ensured that there are no multiple lines with different directions meeting at such a crossing node.

Example

node
highway=crossing
crossing=unmarked
crossing:kerb_extension=both
