A lift gate (boom barrier on Wikipedia) is a bar, or pole pivoted (rotates upwards to open) in such a way as to allow the boom to block vehicular access through a controlled point. Combine with access=* where appropriate.

How to map

Tag a node with barrier=lift_gate. A tiny proportion of cases (0.01%) tag a way instead.
