Electric railways are widely spread around the globe. These vehicles are powered by overhead lines, supported by power=catenary_mast, or third rails (see: electrified=* ). Under this key (railway:electricity) the feeding points for the energy and seperation points can be tagged. Mostly there is also a switch nearby.
