In use to specify access rules applying only to vehicles for private hire ridesharing/ridehailing services like Uber, Lyft, or Grab. Mostly used in the US so far. The vehicles essentially function like taxis, but rules and regulations can differ, so a different access key besides taxi=* is needed in certain situations.
Unlike taxi=* and other child tags of psv=*, rideshare services are private hire arrangements, not public or semi-public transport services.
