This key holds values that qualify usual topological patterns like linear or branched for routes, paths or circuits.
It was originally intended for power=circuit
relations and could be used anywhere relevant.
Purpose
Anyone could argue the pattern could be deduced from the route's relation members arrangement.
It could be true in many situations but such a framework may also be useful to describe what is not directly seen with a study of members arrangement.
Mappers may also be unable to complete a route with all members, waiting for supplementary knowledge or survey. Thus they could first state the topology pattern and then be able to complete all members in the future.
Values
It currently supports a very few of them and any extension could be discussed to support more patterns.
