Introducing Baly as an active company in editing OpenStreetMap.

Rationale

Since 2024, Baly's map team has been developing and improving its mapping infrastructure with the help of the OpenStreetMap project.

OpenStreetMap data is an important component of Baly's products and services. The Baly mapping team uses data and feedback collected through its services to help improve and update OpenStreetMap.

The team strives to improve the quality, accuracy, and completeness of OpenStreetMap data while following applicable OpenStreetMap policies and guidelines.

The Baly map editing team uses user feedback to improve the quality of its edits on OpenStreetMap.

Baly may use the OpenStreetMap API to submit map changes manually or automatically.

Changesets generated through Baly's API-based mapping activities are identified with the #baly_api hashtag.

The hashtag helps the OpenStreetMap community identify Baly API-based edits and facilitates review, communication, and traceability.

Baly's API-based editing activities are intended to follow applicable OpenStreetMap policies, guidelines, and automated editing requirements.
