Hardware:

  • Dell R610 server
  • 2 x Xeon X5670 (6 cores@2.93GHz each +HT)
  • 192GB RAM @1333MHz
  • Samsung 3.6TB NVMe SSD, using ZFS + lz4 compression, 16K recordsize

Software:

  • OS: proxmox 6
  • import in LXC container running Ubuntu 20.04 with 160GB RAM
  • Postgres 13.2 / postgis 3.1
  • osm2pgsql 1.4.1
